Hey Picotado! is a new approach of Picotado · Design Studio & Crafts! This project was launched in February 2014, at Travessa de Cedofeita 49, a unique space in Porto downtown, that combined a design studio and craft shop. In this location, we promoted and marketed products from various authors, hosted events and exhibitions and also worked with clients on their design and communications needs.
At the beginning of 2015, the studio and shop changed their location to another space in the heart of Porto’s Art District, at Rua da Maternidade. In this space, we continued to promote products from various authors, hosted events and exhibitions, worked in communication design, and additionally, organised creative workshops.
Back in 2016, Picotado · Design Studio & Crafts underwent some metamorphoses in its operations, ceasing to have a physical space and focusing exclusively on digital work and sales. Until now, design work has become the main focus, helping clients solve their problems in branding, editorial design, or web design. We also continued to explore our online shop up to 2021. And now? In 2023, we decided to give a new name to Picotado · Design Studio and launch Hey Picotado as a new project with its own concept, honouring all the work developed by Picotado over almost 10 years!
