A Sweet and Delicate Decoration for Baby Beatriz’s First Birthday 🌼
Beatriz’s first birthday was the perfect opportunity to create a celebration filled with softness, colour and a light spring charm. The chosen theme could not have suited her better: daisies, cheerful and delicate flowers that bring an immediate sense of joy. From the start, the goal was to design a decoration that felt sweet, gentle and perfectly suited for a first birthday, using a palette of soft yellows, clean whites and pastel tones.
We began with the personalised bunting, which set the visual direction for the entire project. Each flag was crafted from 300 gsm cardstock, carefully layered and assembled by hand to create depth and texture. This personalised touch added movement and warmth to the space, becoming one of the highlights of the decoration.
Next came the cake details. The caketopper was designed to be simple, sweet and aligned with the daisy theme, keeping the shapes clean and the colours soft. To complete the look, we created a set of mini daisy toppers placed all around the cake, transforming a simple design into a charming floral centrepiece. Every piece was hand-cut and assembled with care, ensuring a cohesive and delicate finish.
Bringing all the elements together was a delightful moment. The bunting, caketopper and mini toppers complemented each other beautifully, creating a light, joyful and harmonious setup for such a special milestone. Each detail was crafted by hand, layer by layer, with all the attention and affection a first birthday deserves.
